To fix the problem, restart your computer and try opening your Norton device security product. If you are still unable to open, download and run the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool.

Download and run the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool

1. Download the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool.

2. Press Ctrl + J key, to open the Downloads window in your browser.

3. Double-click the NRnR icon.

4. Read the license agreement and click Agree.

5. Click Remove & Reinstall.

   If you received your Norton product from your service provider, you may see the Remove button instead.

6. Click Continue or Remove.

7. Click Restart Now.

   After the computer restarts, follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall the Norton product.
